Mud Mania!!

I shot Mud Mania in Scottsdale. Man, was this fun. However, I have been cleaning my camera for over an hour now, and I'm still not done. I walked away covered from head to toe in mud, my shoes were ruined and I had a huge smile on my face. Playing around in the mud all day, who wouldn't love that?

Cheers.

Looking through a veil of mud. (I must give credit where credit is due, thank you Erika for the inspiration for this shot)

Oh so much of a good thing.

This little piggy rolled in the mud...

Mudwrestling. Dig it.

Lost in a sea of mud.

One of the kids slipped, and did a giant faceplant right into the mud. I give him a 9.5.

A pile of discarded shoes lies in the grass.

Saying Goodbye

This was a very difficult shoot. This morning, about 170 troops from the 259th Security Force were deployed to Iraq. Normally, I rarely have a hard time intruding on other peoples' privacy, but this was different. I felt like I was always butting in during what might very well be these familys' last moments together.

Dog Park

Shot the opening of a dog park in Gilbert. There were about 400 dogs and their owners that came out for the festivities; there was also a giant man-made lake for the dogs. So, 400 dogs, sopping wet...yeah, it was a fun time.

Cheers.
